Those of you who know me know that this almost applies to me.

An article appeared recently in the Washinton Post. The article tells about how two Tunisian Muslims were arrested for plotting to kill a Danish cartoonist who drew several cartoons depiciting Mohammad. A year ago, when the cartoons were originally published, the story created an international uproar. There were numerous death threats sent to the cartoonist and Muslim lunatics from all around the world protested (sometimes violently). From what I've seen and read, some of the cartoons depict Mohammad and the religion of Islam as violent. Why is anyone surprised? Unfortunately I'm unable to provide a link, but at one point I saw an image that arose out of this entire issue. It was a photo of an Islamic protester. He held a sign that read (paraphrase), "All who believe Islam is a violent religion should be killed." In light of all this, I recently came across a political cartoon that I couldn't resist posting.

As you may have noticed, I haven't really been actively developing my website for about a month now. Reasons aside, this is unfortunate. Even my cousin (possibly my only faithful reader) noted that nothing had been updated in quite some time. Alright, Jen, here's your "update."

I'm writing from the road on my brother's blackberry. Although it's certainly cool, I don't think I'll theow throw away my computer and keyboard quite yet.

After what seemed like an eternity (a subtle allusion to Time Machine), Leopard is finally arriving today. If you've never even heard about Leopard, then clearly you haven't been reading the same blogs as me! Leopard is the new operating system (OS) from Mac. Arguably, one of the greatest benefits of the internet is in the ability to share information. Emails allow us to communicate with one another at a speed that was previously unattainable!

Facebook is at risk! Your computer is at risk! You are at risk! Your face is at risk!

This is a super-legitimate threat! How do I know? Because I was personally contacted by FBC (Federal Bureau of Computers) this morning! Don't ignore this note. Don't delete it! It will save your computer, your marriage, and even your life!

Who would have thought that making a website would be so difficult? Well, to be quite honest, I suspected as much. However, now that I'm here, it's turning out to be quite a time-consuming task. I'm certainly spending a lot more time on it than I had predicted. There are so many options and so many possibilities for screw ups. It's madness. Please be merciful to me as I learn and experiment. Also, please make lots of comments. Those are great!
