Happy Leopard Day!
After what seemed like an eternity (a subtle allusion to Time Machine), Leopard is finally arriving today. If you've never even heard about Leopard, then clearly you haven't been reading the same blogs as me! Leopard is the new operating system (OS) from Mac. Click on the above link to find details straight from the horse's mouth.
Geeks and Apple fanboys across the world are - at this very moment - lining up in front of Apple stores to be the first to get their grimy little hands on Apple's latest OS offering: 10.5 "Leopard." I however, will not be standing inline with all of my fellow Mac-addicts. It's not because I'm somehow above such foolishness. Don't get me wrong, I would be standing in line if I could. Unfortunately, Apple has yet to build an Apple store anywhere near where I live in western Canada. I'm of the opinion that West Edmonton Mall would be an appropriate place to build one of their fabulous stores. Thus far, no store. Like a commoner, I am forced to order my copy online! Madness!
I ordered my copy a couple of days ago. I actually snagged a family copy so that I can spread the Leopard love with my familial types. Since I'm on the topic of family packs, I compared the price of 5 copies (family pack) of Leopard and 5 copies of Vista. If I were to buy 5 copies of Vista at Canadian retail price (Ultimate version since one simply cannot go with anything less), I would be $2495 poorer by the end of the day. However, with the Leopard family pack (which is pretty much "ultimate" since every copy of Leopard is fully featured), I'll only end up spending $199. And who says Mac is more expensive.
I figure I should be getting a little parcel in the mail in the next couple of days. Like every other blogger on earth who owns a copy of Leopard, I'll share my first impressions here on my site.

heh heh heh
"subtle allusions"... I think I stand w/ my remark about your pithiness
nothing's wrong w/ it per se... but... maybe it's just your pithiness
Jeranon
What?
What's wrong with my pithyness? In fact, that wasn't even really pithy. It was just clever (perhaps). ;-)
;)
bud... if I didn't give you a hard time... who would? It's a dirty job, but somebody has to do it...
And by the way, the appearance of your site is downright hot! Very clean and easy to look at. nnnnnice-ah
